Trump is one of the most talked-about individuals, and in 2016, the Internet was constantly updated with news about him. Notably, during that WWE veteran claimed Trump stole his gimmick and started using it after one of the many appearances in the company.

Well, the former WWE legend is none other than Zeb Colter, aka Dutch Mantell. In an interview with Absolute Intense Wrestling, Colter made light of his anger toward Trump for stealing the ‘We the People’ catchphrase.

He stated, “WrestleMania 29 I went out. I did the promo and was doing this we the people and he was there. So he was in the box so later on, I went back and was sitting in the viewing area and he walked out to me. He walked in with his two sons and his daughter, Ivanka.”

“He saw me and he came over and put his hand like this [shake hand gesture] and said, ‘fantastic! fantastic! I loved your interview.’ And then he walked away. What he did was he watched it and he basically took we the people and he is using it today. He just stole the gimmick.” Colter concluded.

Moreover, during the interview, and remarked that even though he stole his gimmick, he would be endorsing him. Notably. Trump was elected President that year and, besides holding that power, he also holds an unbroken WrestleMania record.

Donald Trump owns a special WWE record that is impossible to break

WrestleMania is one of the most important events in the company. Former US President Donald Trump previously hosted ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’ at his Trump Plaza.

The former President of the United States staged WrestleMania 4 and 5 at his Trump Plaza. In light of this, he is the only person to host back-to-back WrestleMania events in the same place. Several venues have held WrestleMania several times, but only Trump Plaza has done so for two years in a row.
