‘Father vs. Son’, one of the most built-up feuds of WWE, finally concluded at WrestleMania 39. WWE has been working on the storyline between Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik Mysterio since last year. And it came out to be quite entertaining.

However, it turned out that the relationship between the Mysterio father and son isn’t that well even off-camera. Lately, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio admitted details about his 26-year-old relationship with his son Dominik Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio opens up about his relationship with Dominik Mysterio

Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio appeared on the latest episode of Logan Paul’s podcast ‘IMPAULSIVE’. There, he talked about his relationship with his son Dominik Mysterio. Rey said that he had done every possible thing to provide a lifestyle for his kids that he never had for himself. 

He even mentioned that the relationship between him and Dominik Mysterio was always fluctuating. Rey Mysterio called Dom ‘a mama’s boy’ and mentioned that he didn’t like to hang out with him so he could understand his actions towards him.

The WWE Hall of Famer further mentioned that when Dominik trash-talked his own sister, he crossed the line.  

Talking to the hosts, Rey Mysterio said, “He was from a very young age a mama’s girl…….uh…..Mama’s Boy, but yeah Mama’s Boy…..like always. He didn’t like to hang out with me. He always stuck around mom. Mom…..mom….always. So to see him……I get it if he wants to be like that with me, but when I see him act like that with his sister……….”

Not only this, but Rey Mysterio also dropped a hint about his potential match against Dominik Mysterio.

The clash between Rey and Dominik at WrestleMania 39 was beyond words. Not only Rey Mysterio, but Dominik also showed his skills and impressed the fans. Now despite fans thinking that the feud has reached its natural conclusion, the senior Mysterio came up with a possible set-up against his son.

Later in the interview, Rey Mysterio also hinted at his next potential match in the WWE. When the host asked him about his next step to teach Dominik a lesson. To this, the WWE Hall of Famer put forward the idea of a ‘Hair vs. Mask’ match.
