Generally Humble John Cena Once Threatened a Fan With “Massive Amounts of Surgeries” in Response to His Ridiculous Request: “You Would No Longer Be Around”

John Cena played the role of a top baby face in WWE for over a decade. During this time, his personality was charming, and he displayed with his mic skills that he has a really good humorous side to him as well.

After becoming a Hollywood star, that part of Cena’s personality has emerged even more. He did a few comedic roles to show his capabilities. Apart from this, in his interviews, he can be the most sarcastic and funny person out there.

This was the case a few years back when he appeared in a hilarious segment for BuzzFeed. The segment involved the actor responding ‘thirst tweets’ about him.

In the segment, one of the fans oddly enough wished that Cena would pound him into the ground. The Leader of Cenation responded in his usual clever manner and sent out a warning at the same time to this fan.

John Cena has grown in celebrity stature after his success in Hollywood. The Doctor of Thuganomics already enjoyed a massive fan base owing to his WWE career, and that has increased since his acting career has taken off.

Having played the role of an inspirational figure on TV for the most part, many fans who have grown up seeing him as their hero are head over heels for him.

As such, when they never leave the chance to express their love and affection for Cena. But sometimes even that can amusingly go too far. In 2018, the Peacemaker star appeared in a segment for BuzzFeed Celeb, where he read out hilarious thirst tweets about him.

Thirst tweets involve fans expressing their desires and attraction, mostly physical towards a celebrity.

During the segment, a fan had oddly tweeted, “I want Cena to pound me into the ground”. To this, Cena quipped, “You would be part of the ground. Like a gooey chalk substance. You would no longer be around.”

He continued, “It would take massive amounts of surgeries just to bring you back to what you would now consider your normal life. Which would probably be being wheeled around places to explain yourself. Why you chose this path? Because I had John Cena pound me into the ground.”

One of the amazing things about this entire segment was that Cena was able to answer such over-the-top and hilarious tweets with seriousness and a straight face! The Franchise Player not only delivered a ‘warning’ to the fan about the consequences of his wish but showed his acting chops as well.
