Gunther’s IC Title Opponent Decided, Cody Rhodes Makes Key WrestleMania XL Admission: WWE Raw 3/11 Results & Recap

Coming live from the Toyota Center in Texas, this episode of WWE RAW saw the aftermath of the WWE SmackDown showdown. With 30 days left for WrestleMania XL, tonight’s card was packed. Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan, The Kabuki Warriors vs. Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and Cody Rhodes set to address the audience and much more. Here is everything that went down tonight.

WWE RAW 11/03/2024 Results

Backstage segment: We get a backstage segment of Jey Uso coming in with rapper Travis Scott in a Cyber Truck.

In-ring segment: The show kicked off this episode of WWE RAW. Taking the mic, he talked about Seth Rollins. Calling the WWE World Heavyweight Champion “Selfish, delusional, hypocrite, arrogant, junkie,” he began his rant. He questioned why Rollins would accept the Tag Team match with Cody Rhodes on WrestleMania XL Night #1. McIntyre believes that The Bloodline could ruin his title match.

Seth Rollins came out to a massive pop from the audience. Rollins compares McIntyre to CM Punk. Following this, he also claimed that McIntyre wanted to join The Bloodline. The segment ended with the Scotsman wanting to leave before Seth told him that The Scottish Warrior was the least of his problems heading into WrestleMania XL.

Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan

Winner: Becky Lynch

The first opening match of the night was Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan. Both women had unfinished business with each other. The match started out with both women showcasing their strength and in-ring awareness. Neither wanting to lose, they equally matched each other. Despite hitting Oblivion, Lynch was able to roll out. Lynch hit the Manhandle Slaw to win the match via pinfall.

Post-match: Rhea Ripley came out to the ring and congratulated Lynch for winning the match. Ripley claims that Lynch does not want to face her, which is why she takes up all these matches every week.

Announcement: Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis announce that at WrestleMania XL, Judgment Day will defend their unified tag team titles. This will be a six-pack ladder match. The teams to take part will be decided over the coming weeks.

Winner: Candie LeRae and Indi Hartwell

The second match of the night took a strange turn. As LeRae entered after Dupri hit the Caterpillar, she began scolding Dupri. Not only did she reference the jeers Dupri got, but she also said that the locker room hated her. Dupri shoved her aside and tried to leave the ring before getting a big boot from Hartwell. LeRae and Hartwell picked up the win.

In-ring segment: Micheal Cole introduced Cody Rhodes, who wanted to address what happened on SmackDown. Cole asked why Rhodes slapped Johnson on SmackDown despite knowing he was the boss. He went on to explain how he was going to conquer The Bloodline and finish his story at WrestleMania XL.

Backstage segment: Lynch and Morgan were seen backstage, with Lynch reaching for a handshake and burying the hatchet. Morgan accepts, but Nia Jax attacks both women. Lynch is thrown through a table before the officials come out to break it up.

Women’s Tag Team match: Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark vs. The Kabuki Warriors

Winner: The Kabuki Warriors retain their titles

The third women’s match of the night in a row saw Stark and Baszler take the fight to the current tag champs. Asuka and Kairi Sane initially found it hard to maintain the distance from the powerhouse duo. The kabuki Warrior won after a diving elbow combination on Baszler for the pinfall.

Backstage segment: Andrade el Idolo runs into The Judgment Day, who claimed that Dominik Mysterio had some good words regarding him. They claimed that the two would get together later for business talks.

Damian Priest vs. R-Truth

Winner: Damian Priest

Priest finally got R-Truth in a singles match. Truth avoided most of Priest’s hits and even recreated some of John Cena’s most iconic moves. Unfortunately, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh appeared to break Truth’s STF. DIY balanced things out while Priest caught Truth with South of Heaven for the pinfall win.

In-ring segment: Jey Uso came out to a massive pop. Taking to the ring, he announced a brother vs brother match at WrestleMania XL for Jimmy to accept.

Backstage segment: Jackie Redmond interviewed Gunther, who squashed all speculations that he was getting overconfident after being the Intercontinental Champion for so long.

Main Event WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Gauntlet Match:
Bronson Reed vs. Chad Gable vs. JD McDonagh vs. Ricochet vs. Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Winner:

The match started with Ricochet and JD McDonagh. After a hard-hitting match, Ricochet was able to eliminate JD McDonagh via pinfall after a shooting star press. Bronson Reed was up next. Unfortunately, for Ricochet, a 747 Splash was enough to put the high-flyer away.

Sami Zayn was the next one up to face Reed. After a brutal match, Zayn was able to put Reed away with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb. Shinsuke Nakamura was up next. After eating a 747 Splash from Reed, even after eliminating him, Nakamura went in for the cover. However, it did not work, and the two foes went up against each other once more. Zayn was able to hit the Helluva Kick to eliminate Nakamura.

Chad Gable was the last to enter this Gauntlet match on WWE RAW. Before starting the match, Gable waited for Zayn to gather his strength in an authentic look at good sportsmanship. Both men wanted to be in Mania XL, and this was their only ticket. Both men fought tooth and nail to get the upper hand. After three matches, Zayn was able to pick up the win with a roll-up pin on Gable. The two men hugged it out after the match before the Intercontinental Champion Gunther made his way out for a staredown.
