The former NXT Women’s Champion further revealed to Triple H that the higher-ups did not have any work for her in the division.

She said, “Vince and Johnny took a little hiatus you know and then Triple H came in and kind of took over, and he had no idea… that they didn’t renew my contract. He had no idea. He just called me and was just like, ‘So what was the deal? Did you just want to leave?’ And I was just like, ‘Well, it wasn’t that, it was just you know I wasn’t of use, I guess anymore, and that was on their side.”

The 30-year-old wrestler further added that Triple H was“gracious” enough to tell her that if she ever wanted to return, the door was open. Ultimately, Saraya made her debut in AEW in September 2022.
