Bryan Danielson, aka Daniel Bryan, was WWE’s Reality Era superstar. During his stint, he was famous for his ‘Yes Chant,’ Danielson also provided several classic moments in WWE. Recently, on the DDP Snake Pit podcast, Jake ‘The Snakes’ Roberts and Diamond Dallas Page lauded Danielson, stating that he is currently the best in the business.

In addition, on the podcast, Jake ‘the Snake’ and Dallas Page talking about Danielson shared an interesting anecdote about him where he took down a burglar breaking into his home.

Sharing the incident, Dallas Page stated, “Him and his beautiful wife, Brie, get home from going store shopping or something and there’s two burglars in the house, and freaking they see him. They probably recognize them, right? They dropped their sh*t and take off, and Bryan freaking caught the one. Which means the other one is caught now, too. And he puts him in a submission hold and until the cops get there. [20:04-20:33]”.

Dallas Page also detailed the incident in which ‘The American Dragon’ was forced to stop wrestling due to a concussion. Moreover, he stated when he saw him at WrestleMania that he went directly to Danielson to inquire how he did it, to which Danielson said that he goes to the chamber to get oxygen to keep his brain healthy.

When did Bryan Danielson leave WWE?

On April 30, 2021, After WWE SmackDown went off the air, Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract expired at midnight. Bryan lost a Universal Championship bout to Roman Reigns just hours before his contract was set to expire, forcing him to depart SmackDown.

Everyone assumed this was a trick to get Bryan to switch brands. However, that wasn’t the case. After Bryan Danielson’s WWE contract ended in May 2021, he joined AEW and debuted in the ring against Kenny Omega.

Furthermore, Bryan Danielson became the buzz of the town when he joined AEW in 2021. Danielson’s addition to AEW sparked the attention of pro wrestling fans. Since Punk’s exit from the scene, it appears that AEW will now push him as champion.
