Brock Lesnar had a short but eventful outing in the Men’s Royal Rumble this year. After winning the last year’s event, ‘The Beast’ was ready to get back into the main event scene at WrestleMania. But after he eliminated a few superstars from the match, his nemesis Bobby Lashley entered the fray and dumped Lesnar over the top rope to end his stay after having spent less than three minutes in the match.

This caused Lesnar to go berserk at the ringside as he went on a rampage. Lesnar slammed the ring steps on the announce desk and annihilated Baron Corbin. He also threw a part of the desk into the ring and even attacked referee Eddie Orengo. Now, according to a report by Fightful Select, some of these spots weren’t planned and as a result, there is some heat on Lesnar backstage.

‘The Beast Incarnate’ threw the referee Eddie Orengo over the barricade and possibly sustained an injury. He had to go to the back to sell Lesnar’s attack and missed a key spot toward the end of the match. Despite the ‘heat’ on Lesnar a source told Fightful that the term heat is relative for Brock Lesnar and he may not get into any trouble, noting that it’s a new regime, but some people were mad backstage.

Heat or no heat, it is difficult to imagine WWE will be doing away with Brock Lesnar for the time being, especially given that WrestleMania season. Moreover, ‘The Conqueror’ is involved in a blockbuster program with Lashley and each star has one win over the other. There is a big chance of an epic final showdown taking place at WrestleMania Hollywood between the two behemoths. Thus, WWE wouldn’t want to miss the boat on that one.
