The WWE Hall of Fame seeks to honor professional wrestlers for their immense contribution to the industry. It recognizes the wrestler’s legacy and acknowledges him to be one of the finest of his time. They created the award in 1993, and the late André the Giant became the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Recently, the organization announced that the first inductee into the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame will be iconic superstar Rey Mysterio. Therefore, former WWE champion, Hulk Hogan, sought to share a message for the Master of 619 on this occasion.

Hulk Hogan shared some kind words about Rey Mysterio

The Hulkster was as chirpy as ever, addressing fans on his YouTube channel. The 69-year-old WWE legend still gets his word out on important matters concerning the company. Moreover, Hogan is a huge fan of Rey Mysterio’s work in the WWE. Therefore, the most popular wrestler of the 80s felt that ‘The Biggest Little Man’ deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame.

In his video, Hogan said “You know Maniacs, I was watching the WWE the other night, and I was real curious who the first inductee to the 2023 Hall of Fame was. Oh my gosh, it’s Rey Mysterio!”

He added, “No one is more deserving: a champion, a great man. a great father, and a great husband. He deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. For years and years and years he’s carried the torch” giving massive praise to the high-flyer.

Hogan recognized Mysterio’s immense contribution as a professional wrestler. During his prime, Mysterio fought against the biggest of opponents and bested them despite his smaller frame. However, fans of the high-flyer still have one thing to worry about.

Dominik Mysterio could ruin the party for his father

WWE fans are glad that Rey Mysterio is getting his long-overdue recognition. But, they are worried that Mysterio’s son, Dominik Mysterio could crash the auspicious ceremony.

‘Prison Dom’ is not in cahoots with his father. Moreover, he plans to humiliate him on the biggest night of his life. Even sports journalist Ryan Satin felt that ‘Dom’ would cause a major hurdle in the proceedings of the ceremony.
