WWE entered a whole new era after Vince McMahon quit as company CEO earlier this year amid misconduct allegations. This led to the company being run by his daughter Stephanie McMahon, son-in-law Triple H, and Nick Khan.
This was the first time that McMahon wouldn’t be involved in the day-to-day running of WWE and he has actively stayed away since. In fact, McMahon has been seldom mentioned or featured since his WWE exit. But that changed on the latest episode of SmackDown as he made a surprise appearance.
