Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the most famous wrestlers of all time. However, due to his neck injuries, he had departed from the WWE. After departing, Austin continued to appear on many shows, including the Steve Austin Podcast. On his podcast, various well-known wrestlers have offered a variety of interesting and rarely told stories from their professional lives. In addition, WWE legend Billy Gunn had joined him on his podcast and delivered several entertaining anecdotes.

On the podcast, Gunn shared an interesting story of how he and “Texas Rattle Snake” got engaged in a tussle in a hotel room after having a few beers, He stated, “We get out of the car and I put the key in the door. The door barely cracks and I get crushed! I thought somebody had tried to mug us. I literally get crushed and I look around and lo and behold it’s little Steve, it’s still little Steve, and he’s trying to kick the s**t out of me!”

“Like, I’m not understanding where this had come from. So I put the brakes on it by trying to choke him out. He goes, ‘okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.’ I go, ‘okay.’ I get up, go to walk across to the couch, and wham, I get Pearl Harbored again! So now we’re tussling around again. I finally hook him. Moreover, Stone Cold urged letting him go after that, and Gunn left him after Austin promised to stop doing it. Later, once again, he knocks Gunn against the door and shouts, “I’ve got Billy Goats!”. Gunn said that Austin was the kind of person that generated a lot of problems, which was entertaining.

Billy Gunn and Stone Cold Steve Austin were travel partner

During their tenure in the WWE, Austin and Billy Gunn traveled together for a while, and on the podcast, they talk about their experiences. Gunn joked on the podcast that Austin was a bad travel companion, saying, “I know you want me to say you, but you were kind of a pain in the a**.”

Conversely, when asked who his favorite traveling buddy was, Austin, named Billy Gunn. They obviously like being around one another and have a close relationship with one another.
