“Hogan Was Lusting Over…”: UFC Legend Makes a Strong Case of Hulk Hogan Being a “Snake”

Hulk Hogan and ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage served as major pillars for WWF (now WWE) as they have been two of the greatest wrestlers from the Golden Age Era. In the beginning, they have been tag team partners and Miss Elizabeth managed the two of them.

However, later on, they got involved in a fight due to suspicion and envy. UFC legend, Daniel Cormier took a massive shot at Hogan over his 1989 Royal Rumble bout.

If you didn’t know, Cormier has long been an admirer of WWE and a fan of professional wrestling. He recently referred to Hogan as a ”snake” in a series of tweets in which he called him out. In addition to referring to Hogan as a snake, DC also referred to Savage as the greatest wrestler of all time.

DC tweeted the video of him watching the Royal Rumble 1989 bout where Hogan eliminated his tag team partner Randy Savage. Consequently, this act made him claim Savage was correct to be suspicious of Hogan being smitten with Elizabeth.

Hulk Hogan and Macho Man’s storyline

The victory against Ricky Steamboat at WrestleMania III gave Randy Savage a significant boost in the main event scene. Notably, Hogan then assisted Savage in capturing his first WWF Championship. Thus, this gave rise to their friendship.

However, things became tense as Hogan overacted amicably with Miss Elizabeth. If you didn’t know, The Mega Powers were bitter and envious of one another. The breakup angle between Savage and Elizabeth has been set up during this period.

Notably, their animosity began when Hogan accidentally eliminated Savage at the Royal Rumble in 1989. In addition, a lot of WWE fans believe Hogan and Miss Elizabeth were actually involved at the time.

Daniel Cormier also blasted Hogan’s triumph at WrestleMania

DC recently put out a video featuring the illustrious Hulkster versus Macho Man contest from WrestleMania 5. Cormier was angry with Hogan since he didn’t like how things turned out.

He believes that the fact that Hogan consistently defeated Savage during his career is the cause of DC’s animosity. Hogan defeated Savage once more when it appeared like Savage would win after executing the Flying Elbow Drop but he failed to do so in the end.
