There is nothing more painful than an up-and-coming athlete’s life being cut short untimely. The many accolades that the person could have won haunt the fans as they wonder what could have been. It is certainly a dreadful situation that would send many into sadness. That was the case with the tragic death of former WWE Tough Enough winner Sara Lee last year.

She passed away at the young age of 30 with the cause of her death still uncertain. However, there is a massive update that could provide a clue as to how Lee met her unfortunate fate.

According to a report in PEOPLE, alcohol might have played a part in her untimely passing. Lee was apparently heavily drinking in the hours leading to her abrupt death as per the report which cites a source close to Lee’s family. This is a massive development as there was no information with regard to the actual cause of the death.

Lee married Cory James Weston who goes by Wesley Blake as his squared circle name and the couple was proud parents to three children.

It was seemingly going on quite well until the tragic news was given by her mother Terri Lee. She wrote on her Facebook account, “It is with heavy hearts we wanted to share that our Sara Weston has gone to be with Jesus. We are all in shock and arrangements are not complete.”

The wrestling world will never know the true heights that Sara Lee’s career would have reached as she had massive potential. The new update has upset the fans even more. Whatever may be the cause of her death, it stings to know that such a bright prospect was taken away so soon.
