A few hours back, Bad Bunny shared through his Instagram account, a picture of his back filled with battle scars. From the picture, one can guess the intensity of the fight he has been a part of. That being said, fans have praised the singer immensely for putting up a splendid match despite not being a full-time wrestler. Along with this, during the fight, he was given a powerbomb from the top through a table set up. These were enough to give the Puerto Rican rapper some spine-chilling bruises on his back.

Bad Bunny vs Damian Priest was reportedly not the original plan of WWE for the PLE

Yes, you read it right. Despite being the most anticipated match of the WWE Backlash, Bad Bunny vs Damian Priest wasn’t the promotion’s original plan. 

As reported by Fightful Select, the initial plan was to place Bunny alongside WWE legend Rey Mysterio to take on The Judgement Day members Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest in a tag team match. The intent was to show Bunny pinning the junior Mysterio for fans’ satisfaction. 

Later, the roster was convinced about the rapper’s ability to deliver a singles match. Whatever the case, now both WWE and its fans would be satisfied after witnessing such a thrilling match at the premium live event.
