The return of CM Punk to WWE had created waves in the pro wrestling industry. The star who made his return after almost a decade is still the talk of the town.  It could be safe to say that no one is safe from the effects of his return. While it is still a hot topic, some people are still referencing the moment. One such person is WWE’s latest signee, Jade Cargill. She recently gave a hilarious twist to a statement made by CM Punk after the night of his return.

Jade Cargill adds her unique twist to CM Punk’s statement

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) Cargill tweeted, “I already have friends. Just give me the money.” While many fans were confused, few realized that it was a nod to the statement made by CM Punk on his return to Monday Night Raw. Punk stated that he is back to make money and didn’t harbor a desire to make friends. While this was a befitting response, it was also hilarious.

Since his release from AEW, fans have been wondering what would be the next step for CM Punk. While he made quite a few appearances as a commentator on CFFC, fans did not lose hope. He finally returned to the Survivor Series PLE held on November 25, 2023. Punk was released from AEW due to backstage altercations involving Jack Perry.

While fans were guessing as to what might be the star’s next move, the Second City Saint was having fun dropping easter eggs for his fans.

All the hints given by CM Punk 

While there were speculations that Punk might return to WWE, an act by the star himself brought the conversation into the limelight. At an episode of CFFC, Punk was present as a guest commentator. This was days after he was released from AEW. While having a conversation with fellow commentators he jokingly said that he has time of two months on his hands in which he is not committed to any work.

This was enough for the fans to start a conversation about his return. The day on which this comment was made was roughly two months away from the Survivor Series. On top of that, the PLE was held in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. This solidified the belief of fans that it would be the perfect setting for him to return. Apart from that, he had been dropping various hints before returning to the Stamford-based promotion. Do you think CM Punk will address this comment by Jade Cargill in the future?

For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let?s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
