One of such is a former WWE Superstar, Ken Shamrock. During the Attitude Era, he gained notoriety. When he was at his peak, WWE featured him in storylines featuring the top wrestlers on the roster.
Additionally, Shamrock mentioned in an interview with Casual Conversations that since he was known as Ken “The Rock” Shamrock in the UFC, WWE had to get his permission before using his name. During the interview, Jenna Ben asked him, “Please tell me you made some money off letting The Rock use The Rock?”

Responding to this, Shamrock stated, “You know what, man? The Rock came up and started using it. Nobody even knew the issue at all. I didn’t because I was never kind of — I never liked that, right? Just like when they came up with the dolls that had the lion skin on it with the shorts on it, I owned that.”
“They never asked me to do that. They didn’t ask to do that, so, therefore, I own that, so I could’ve gotten all that too, but you know what? I was fine with where I was at. It didn’t matter.”

He also mentioned that he and The Rock had discussed it once. Shamrock told him not to be worried. He’s not going to do anything about it. Since he is now The World’s Most Dangerous Man.
WWE rivalry between The Rock and Ken Shamrock
In February 1997, Shamrock made his debut in WWE (then WWF). During his brief WWE reign, Ken Shamrock had a noteworthy rivalry with The Rock in 1998.

However, his most iconic moment came at WrestleMania XIV, when he challenged ‘The People’s Champ‘ for his Intercontinental Championship. In addition, He put him in The Ankle Lock and won the bout via submission. Moreover, Shamrock got disqualified because he did not break his ankle hold. The referee had no option but to overturn the verdict and declare The Rock as the champion once more.
