At AEW Full Gear, Maxwell Jacob Friedman aka MJF defeated Jon Moxley to win the World Championship. His win came after William Regal, Moxely’s mentor, betrayed him and handed brass knuckles to MJF to pick up the win.

Many fans thought that this was the beginning of a new alliance between the former WWE legend and MJF. However, in the recent episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF brutally attacked Regal with brass knuckles to leave him lying in the ring. Regal had to be carried out by the paramedics and transported to an ambulance.

As the video of MJF’s attack and Regal being carried out went online, fans couldn’t believe what happened and shared their thoughts.

Kayfabe or not, this was a real scary bump to take for William Regal, especially given his past health issues with his neck and brain. We hope Mr. Regal is fine after this incident and his injury is only a storyline.
