Dwayne Johnson undoubtedly possesses the traits that make a good leader: charm, a strong love for whatever he does, and most importantly, leadership ability. Notably, he frequently hinted at running for president but never actually committed to it.

WWE superstar, who, like Johnson, developed his career in Hollywood, interestingly supported the assumption that Johnson has a serious chance of winning the presidency. Moreover, he prefers him above Donald Trump, the former US president.

As DJ is well known for occasionally teasing his desire to run for president, he stated in 2016 that he would think about doing so in 2020. Thus, Johnson’s buddy and former WWE superstar Dave Bautista was questioned about his opinion of the situation.

In response to this, the Guardians of the Galaxy star told TMZ, “I’d vote for him—better candidate than fu*king Trump. If Trump can win, anyone could definitely win.” As per Bautista, Johnson running for president appeals to him.

However, The Rock never gave it any thought or expressed any intention of running for president in 2020. It’s excellent that he’s thinking about it, even if he decides against running for president in 2024. Given how dissimilar the two sectors are, it is unclear if he will make the transition from Hollywood to politics.

Dwayne Johnson is teasing possible presidential run

Dwayne Johnson appeared in the NBC series Young Rock as a future 2032 presidential candidate. Since the first episode aired, viewers have questioned whether Johnson is sincere in his desire to succeed as the President of the United States.

The Rock reportedly previously said that he was trying to figure out whether he really wanted the idea of running for president. He stated, “It started coming up more and more. There was a real sense of earnestness, which made me go home and think. ‘Let me really rethink my answer and make sure I am giving an answer that is truthful and also respectful’.” [H/T: GQ]

The Rock hasn’t said if he actually wants to run for president or not up until now. However, the way he adjusts himself in each area will offer him the due credit that he can transfer into politics as well, but it will undoubtedly be the most difficult thing in his career.
