CM Punk currently is a hot topic of discussion in pro wrestling. Punk has been out of AEW after his indefinite suspension from the company. His exit from wrestling has been one of the most dramatic incidents. The fallout from CM Punk’s post-All Out media scrum episode still continues. But after much speculation about his future, Punk is finally back with AEW as is getting ready for the company’s newest offering on Saturday nights, AEW Collison.

Tony Khan is getting CM Punk back in the ring. It seems like fans are finally going to see the self-proclaimed ‘Best in the World’ in the ring. Punk himself dropped a hint of his possible first challenger on Instagram.

CM Punk drops a hint about an eligible candidate for his first match post his return

CM Punk seems excited about his return. Recently, Dax Harwood took to his Instagram and shared a clip in which he was wrestling Punk.

He captioned it by writing, My boy, but I got something to prove.“. To this Punk reposted the video on his Instagram story and replied on the post saying” I’ll fight you right back send the location.” 

Continuing their conversation on social media, the former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion then shared his location. Their conversation on social media sparks rumors that CM Punk might wrestle Dax Harwood as his comeback opponent in AEW.

Both wrestlers are friends in real life and have respect for one another.

But it looks like FTR’s close ties with Punk may have led to less screen time in the aftermath of the brawl-out incident.

Dax Harwood and CM Punk’s friendship reason for FTR’s burial on AEW?

Harwood agrees that he and Punk are friends. There are many theories behind Punk’s and Harwood’s friendship. To this day, there are whispers in the air that they have less screen time or chances due to their friendship.

Harwood is in complete denial of this rumor of their friendship affecting their profession. Harwood also clarified that Tony Khan nor any member associated has any problem with his and Punk’s relationship. His absence from the ring back then had nothing to do with Punk.

Explaining his point in a recent interview, Harwood said that CM Punk has many supporters in AEW backstage.
