This was the case during the main event of WrestleMania 27 between John Cena and The Miz. Before the entry of each superstar, WWE played a promo package on the big screen, highlighting key perspectives from their pro wrestling journeys.

John Cena, a well established main eventer by this time, had a video package which featured a background score of Prayer III by DMX. The video showcased the early days of The Champ and even had shots of his time in OVW. It also gave an insight into Cena’s connection with the fans, especially young kids, who saw him as an inspiration. After the video resurfaced on Twitter, fans began fondly recalling the promo packages for both stars on that night.

Although the match and the event as a whole is less keenly remembered by the fans, before the last match of the night got underway, they were awe-struck by the promo packages for both.

Cena’s promo video began doing rounds online, fans began appreciating it while also recalling The Miz’s video at WrestleMania 27.
