The legendary wrestlers from the 1990s, Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan, would have confronted one another, as WWE diehard fans will certainly recall. Just before Hogan’s departure, the contest was scheduled for SummerSlam 1993, and Hart was supposed to win. However, not everything went according to plan in WWE, just like in the real world. Hogan, however, lost the championship, but it was against Yokozuna, and eventually left WWE.
Speaking with Diamond Joe during the Wrestling Shooting Interview, Hulkster briefly described the conflict he had with Hitman behind the scenes. As per Hogan, he was supposed to drop his title to Yokozuna. However, Vince McMahon had already assured Hitman that he would win the title at SummerSlam.

Hart went directly to Hogan in a fit of rage after learning that Hogan will drop the title to Yokozuna. Hogan then drives Hart to The Big Man’s office. Citing the incident, Hogan said, “We actually went to Vince’s office and sat there. And you know Vince was really nice to all of us, and he told Bret that’s what you thought you heard and you know that was pretty much it. I don’t know what was really said to Bret, or maybe he thought he heard.”
How did Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart’s heat begin?
The 1993 match between Hulkster and Hart was one of the most awaited WWE events ever. However, the match never took place; all that happened was that it heightened the tension between the two greats.
Hulkster explained the beginning, saying, “That’s where the heat started I may have said something really stupid behind closed doors about Bret that you know what he’s not, he’s not that main event guy yet, you know because my perception was of him was tag team, an intercontinental level he hadn’t got to that perception at that time.”

Moreover, he added, “So at the end of the day, I may have said something like that got relayed to him, and I actually think it did.
