“It’s Weird”: Roman Reigns Makes an Unbelievable Confession About Dwayne Johnson

In the WWE world, Roman Reigns and Dwayne Johnson have earned the top rank in the organization during their different tenures and have become legendary in the pro wrestling world. Meanwhile, both have long been the buzz of the town. Since the whole WWE realm has glued their eyes to the revelation about the two titans’ showdown. However, The Tribal Chief just turned the whole WWE audience’s attention with some unexpected disclosures about The Rock.

In case you didn’t know, both illustrious superstars come from the same Anoa’i wrestling family. Given that they are cousins and that The Great One made a reputation for himself as one of the greatest of all time, it stands to reason that he would be a hero not only to his family but to the entire globe. However, it’s not the case.

In a recent podcast with Logan Paul, The Tribal Chief was questioned about whether The Rock was his childhood hero. To which he denied that he looked at Hollywood Megastar as an inspiration. In his words, “I don’t know if I looked up to him as an idol or anything because it was it’s weird because the relationship right, the connection and family.”

Indeed, it was surprising to hear for a WWE fan, since The Rock is unquestionably the greatest wrestler who is well-known outside of the sport. However, Reigns acknowledged that despite not seeing The Rock as an inspiration, he has always had a great appreciation for what he accomplished and how he did it.

In the same conversation, The Tribal Chief, noted that there has indeed always been a lot of respect for what “Brahma Bull” has accomplished. Also, he has immense appreciation for Johnson for his ability to captivate people with charm. Additionally, he said that he always knew DJ has something special.

He stated, “So we always knew like he is special and you know what I mean is doing it on a different level and it you know gets to a point where it’s like all well it’s going to slow down right but it just kept going and he just keeps getting bigger and bigger and his footprints just get larger. But it was definitely one of those where it’s like oh he is doing something major and I like to do something similar of.”

Reigns said that The Rock is unquestionably a representative of his ancestry and family. And although he doesn’t see him as an idol, if he is able to match The Rock’s accomplishments, he will be content with him. Meanwhile, there is excitement among WWE fans due to rumors that the two titans will square off at WrestleMania next year.
