WWE superstar Matt Riddle and Brock Lesnar have one thing in common: they are both former mixed martial artists. Additionally, Riddle and The Beast Incarnation had previously squared off in the Elimination Chamber, where Lesnar ended up winning the bout. However, in a recent interview with Catch Club, Riddle revealed that the former UFC Heavyweight Champion and WWE veteran, Brock Lesnar, is his dream opponent for WrestleMania’s main event.

Speaking with Catch Club, Riddle was asked about who he would like to face in the main event at WrestleMania.

Riddle responded, “I mean you got Edge. He’s really good, and he’s with Damien Priest. You know that would be entertaining. I mean, the obvious answer is Brock Lesnar. You know I’ve been wanting that guy for a minute, but he didn’t want me, but now we were kinda like this. I might be able to get in there now. I don’t know if I will like the outcome of the match.”

Furthermore, he also recalls his match against Lesnar in the Elimination Chamber, where The Beast Incarnation dominated the bout, crushing all the other contestants inside.

Talking about that, he stated, “You know things didn’t go according to plan. I think everyone would agree with that. Brock broke out of his pod and did what Brock does. Nobody was ready for him and he came in and he brocked us. I would like that match when the time is right, and the build is right.”

Riddle has openly stated that Lesnar is his dream opponent for the WrestleMania main event. However, Lesnar has previously made it clear that he does not want to work with Riddle.

Why does Brock Lesnar not want to work with Riddle?

Riddle had once previously stated that he wishes to retire Lesnar. Notably, it seems like The Beast Incarnation was furious with the Riddle’s statement. In an interview with Ariel Helwani on ESPN MMA, Matt Riddle revealed before the Royal Rumble that Lesnar warned him not to use his name.

Riddle said, “He came up to me, put his arm around me and told me we were never going to work. So, I shouldn’t mention his name or talk about him or anything like that. And I should not call him out on social media. And I said, ‘Whatever you want, Bro.’
