Playing up to the angle, WWE also moved Jey Uso’s name to their alumni section on their official website. But now a recent promotional poster might have revealed the former WWE tag-team champion’s return date to the promotion. WWE’s own website for Fastlane 2023 states Jey Uso as a featured superstar for the event. It also includes other names such as Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and Asuka.

Fastlane 2023 is scheduled to take place on 7th October 2023, and the promotional poster for it has Jey Uso featured on it. Although these appearances are always subject to change, keeping The Bloodline or Jey Uso off TV beyond this date might not be ideal for WWE. Hence, we could see Jey Uso return in some capacity at Fastlane, which is still more than a month away.

Jey Uso quitting WWE was always a part of the storyline, but with him being absent from programming since his announcement and WWE also moving him to the list of alumni, they have been doing a good job of building up the angle for the long term.

Within the next one and a half months, fans could know if Jey Uso is actually returning to Fastlane, or has his match against Jimmy Uso is planned for a later date.

Will Jey Uso versus Jimmy Uso take place at WrestleMania 40?

With Jey Uso now missing, WWE might develop Jimmy Uso as a singles competitor. Before making Jey Uso return at Royal Rumble (if he fails to return at Fastlane) and cost Jimmy Uso his chance. This might later lead to a bout between the two twin brothers at WrestleMania 40.

It will be difficult for WWE to keep the interest of fans from now till WrestleMania if that is the path they want The Usos to follow to settle their score. There is also a chance we may see more than one match with the final score being settled in Philadelphia next year on the “Grandest Stage of Them All.”
