The entire O2 arena burst into euphoria with astounded fans continuously chanting,‘ Thank You, Cena,’ when his music hit the arena. Although Cena gave up on his tight WWE schedule a long ago for shifting his attention to a rousing Holywood career, he never really disappeared from the wrestling zone. He continued to make sporadic appearances in the company ring throughout, whether you could see it or not.

On the surface, it looked like his sole motive behind making such a triumphant return is primarily because of his enthusiasm to bring WrestleMania to London. But little did we know, a deeper motive was working behind.

Eight years ago, when Super Cena emotion was running high among fans, the 16-time WWE world champion made a bombshell prediction on his wrestling future. During an interview with TMZ Sports, The Cenation Leader noted, ”I don’t think I’ll ever be done with WWE. I think if ever there comes a time where I got to get out of the ring. But even sitting at the commentary table last night it’s such a great live show and maybe I can be there or maybe work behind the scenes.”

Given Cena’s year-old foresight of the rest of his wrestling days came out true, a potential SummerSlam appearance is looming in the corner.
