The biggest highlight of yesterday’s Academy Awards was Will Smith’s slap to Chris Rock. The scuffle between the Hollywood actor and comedian is still viral everywhere on social media. But this is clearly something many superstars in WWE and other combat sports must have a lot of experience in. Thus, a few of them, including John Cena, have reacted to the shocking move by the Best Actor award winner.
However, even WWE legend John Cena can not refrain from having some say in the viral matter. ‘The Champ’ posted the photo taken just before the slap on his Instagram as a comment on the incident. Even though the post did not contain any caption or hashtags, it was very clear to the fans and taken as one of the most hilarious reaction.

The picture says it all for John Cena
The world was stunned to watch the crazy night at the Oscars 2022. Best Actor award nominee Will Smith went up to the stage and slapped comedian Chris Rock for his joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith. The joke was based on a 1997 film G.I. Jane and Jada’s bald hairstyle that resembles the main character of the movie. But it offended the Smith couple, as Jada has a medical condition that led to her current hairstyle.
After the incident, Will Smith won the Best Actor award at the same stage and apologized for his behavior during the emotional speech. However, several celebrities reacted to it, supporting and criticizing the action of Will Smith, and WWE superstar John Cena posted the picture taken just before the slap on his Instagram page.

The post is just the picture with no caption or hashtags, as ‘The Cenation Leader’ knows the picture talks more than words. Evidently, it is an acknowledgement of the staggering turn of events at a prestigious ceremony like the Academy Awards.
However, the comments under the post appreciate John Cena as they view it as him implying the slap was ‘sassy’. Some of the comments said, “moments taken before disaster”, ” Really John, You too (laughing emojis)?”, and “U saw that’s coming”.
