John Cena Once Confessed Having a “Man Crush” on Dwayne Johnson’s Best Friend: “I Like What He Does”

There is no need to elaborate on why Dwayne Johnson and John Cena are two of WWE’s most popular athletes. At this point in their careers, they are both hugely flourishing movie stars. There are striking parallels between the two, including the fact both have been part of the Fast and Furious franchise.

Both of their careers have motivated younger generations, which started with them as WWE superstars who failed in their initial effort, but after their success, they broke into Hollywood as enormous stars. Interestingly, in 2017, Cena admitted that The Rock’s Hollywood Buddy is his man crush.

Vanity Fair shared a video of The Champ answering questions from New Yorkers on the street in 2017.

The most intriguing aspect of the clip, nevertheless, was when Cena was quizzed about his man crush and he revealed that it was none other than The Rock’s BFF, Kevin Hart. John Cena stated, “That’s a good question. Right now, I’m gonna tell you, Kevin Hart. I like what he does. Funny guy, a sense of style about him.”

No one can dispute that Hart is among the funniest people in the industry. In addition, Cena said that he liked Hart’s funny style. Given that Hart is DJ’s best friend, it would be intriguing to watch how he would react to that. Meanwhile, The Champ and Brahma Bull are scheduled to make a comeback in WWE.

The Rock and John Cena might make their returns to WWE jointly

The Rock’s return to the roster at WrestleMania 39 has long been rumored. And now that Cena is reportedly making a comeback, the news for WWE fans just got much better. Both have not fought each other since WrestleMania 2013.

Now that both are scheduled to make a comeback, it would be intriguing to watch whether they re-engage. However, it is rumored that The People’s Champ will square off against his cousin Roman Reigns, and given that John Cena is currently making headlines, a triple-threat bout would be the stuff of dreams for many WWE fans.
