WWE and Hollywood star John Cena often draw attention because of his social media posts. At times, his posts have a hidden message about a project or sometimes it would be a motivational quote.
Fans engage in discussion over his posts as to what Cena could imply. However, recently his tweet inadvertently led to a debate over Portuguese soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo.
Like Cena, Ronaldo also enjoys celebrity status due to his exploits on the soccer field. The decorated soccer player has been in the news because of his stormy exit from Manchester United and his national side’s abject failure in the FIFA World Cup.

After John Cena came up with a cryptic tweet, the former Real Madrid forward was again the topic of discussion.
John Cena’s tweet sparks Cristiano Ronaldo debate
John Cena is known for his inspirational and sometimes cryptic posts on his social media. The Doctor of Thuganomics came up with a four-worded tweet that sounded rather cryptic. Cena tweeted, “Be where you are”.
This led to a discussion in the comments section by the fans, but one user brought up Cristiano Ronaldo.
Be where you are.

Replying to Cena’s tweet, the user questioned, “But, where is Cristiano Ronaldo?” This reply sparked a debate on Cena’s Twitter.
Certain fans spoke in favor of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner while others had some harsh comments about him. A user said, “He is crying in his car.” Another user commented, “He is still the greatest of all time.”

Although John Cena was not directly involved in this Cristiano Ronaldo debate, he once showed that he was a Ronaldo fan. In 2017, during an interview with BBC, the 16x-time world champion said, “If I had to name some famous footballers, I would start and end with Cristiano Ronaldo. That’s it.”
Ronaldo’s recent soccer turmoil
The recent few months haven’t been kind to the Portuguese soccer legend Ronaldo. He had a bad falling out with his former club Manchester United and went on to give an explosive interview on his situation with the club. This resulted in Manchester United terminating his contract.
Then in the FIFA World Cup his greatest on-field rival the Argentine soccer great Lionel Messi overshadowed him by winning the tournament for his country while Ronaldo-led Portugal could only reach the quarter-finals.
Since his exit, Ronaldo remains without a team at the club level. There have been reports of a possible big money deal with the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr but nothing has been finalized.
