It’s a new dawn, a new day for the WWE Universe – John Cena is making his return to the ring…or should I say the broadcast booth? The Cenation Leader appears as a special guest on The Pat McAfee Show tomorrow at 1 pm ET, live from WWE World. The Earth shook when Cena made his electrifying return to WrestleMania XL in Philly, aiding Cody Rhodes in his battle against The Bloodline’s Roman Reigns.

Will he continue this run? It may seem like a broken record, but Cena hasn’t got much left as an in-ring performer in WWE. Back in December, he made a digital appearance on SmackDown. Cena reminded fans that he has entered the twilight of his career. “I’m giving myself, like, hey, if you don’t figure it out until (the age of 50), you’re just done. If we don’t come up with something that we can present to our WWE universe as a wave goodbye, if it doesn’t happen by then, I’ll just silently announce it on X or whatever the platform is,” Cena stated on his retirement plans. Perhaps, he may reveal more of his intentions and goals as he appears on the esteemed talk show.

While his in-ring future remains unclear, Cena’s aura transcends the squared circle. His aura at WrestleMania XL added another chapter to an iconic career that has seen him overcome every obstacle, from psychotic villains to zombie outbreaks (any Army of the Dead fans out there?).

So what mayhem will Cena cook up on The Pat McAfee Show? Will he continue to stir the pot with The Bloodline? Maybe he’ll take off the backpack kid gloves and go Peacemaker on Pat’s crew. One thing’s for sure – you can’t see him missing this must-see appearance. Especially after that scintillating WrestleMania display.

John Cena made a splash at the Showcase of the Immortals

For those who somehow missed Cena’s long-awaited return at The Show of Shows, let’s just say he made one hell of an entrance back into the squared circle. When Solo Sikoa tried putting the boots to Cody Rhodes, Cena hit the scene like a bat outta hell – blasting Sikoa with an Attitude Adjustment through the announce table. It was a moment straight out of the Cenation leader’s beloved throwback era.

His surprise cameo added extra gasoline to the already white-hot WrestleMania main event fire between Rhodes and Roman Reigns. But Cena’s night was just getting started. After neutralizing Sikoa, he shockingly planted Roman Reigns with an AA as well. This set the stage for an epic stare-down with his longtime rival, The Rock, who had made his involvement known in recent weeks. The two icons seemed set to reignite their legendary feud until Seth Rollins arrived, only to catch a Superman Punch from Reigns.

“Other than [John] Cena, that was just a marathon run. Every other top guy’s run ain’t longer than my title reign. In the modern era,” The Tribal Chief acknowledged the Cenation Leader’s historic 16 world title reigns after Mania.

While the future WWE Hall of Famer’s in-ring plans remain unclear, one thing is certain. He hasn’t lost his ability to send shockwaves through the WWE Universe. Whether he’s slinging increasingly self-aware dad jokes on the mic or defiantly shouting “You Can’t See Me” as the crowd goes bananas, Cena’s aura is undeniable. His appearance on McAfee’s must-see show will be applesauce, you monarchs.
