Fans know that Dwayne Johnson has a good sense of humor. The Rock is quick to dish out some solid comedy, as well as being able to take a joke on himself. His friend, and co-actor Kevin Hart, take full advantage of this playful nature of the former WWE wrestler. Moreover, the two have amazing chemistry when they roast each other during public appearances.

In an old interview, Hart went after The Rock over a particular issue. The comedian didn’t hold back until The Brahma bull erupts into a fit of laughter.

In an old interview with ‘This Morning’, Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson sat together to promote their 2017 film, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Both of them are well known for being close friends, and have worked together on multiple hit projects such as Central Intelligence, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, and DC League of Super-Pets.

However, during the interview Hart accused Johnson of never being able to let go of his WWE Attitude Era Persona to this day. Back in the day, Johnson was famous for his iconic catchphrase “Do you smell what the Rock is cooking?” followed by a prolonged sniff.

This added to The Rock’s tremendous showmanship to win over the WWE audience. But it doesn’t have the same effect at a busy restaurant.

Hart roasted Johnson for his over-the-top nature and said “at a restaurant, when he orders his food ‘I’ll have the (imitates the rock sniffing).”

The whole room erupted with laughter. Then, the comedian adds “‘Hey, hey man. just order the food. You ain’t got to do that.’” to point out The Brahma Bull’s obsession with his WWE persona.

The Rock took the joke like a champ

Dwayne Johnson characteristically laughs out loud at Hart’s witty remark and adds to the joke. He continues, “I’ll take the chicken breast… (does his eyebrow raise)” and laughs at his own expense. Kevin Hart’s excellent comedic timing caught The Rock off guard, making him the butt of the joke.
