It’s damn true that Kurt Angle is one of the WWE legends with the most injuries. The Hall of Famer had to retire from WWE due to his prolonging neck issues and tight schedule in 2006. Even after he returned following his tenure in TNA, the health issues persisted and stopped him from going far as he wanted.

The 53-year-old, however, settled with off-ring occupations with WWE and he was the General Manager at RAW until he had to be let go during COVID-19 budget cuts. In the recent episode of the Kurt Show, the Olympic Hero talked about his long history of injuries and that he is undergoing knee replacement surgery next month.

Kurt Angle Will Undergo A Major Knee Surgery Next Month

While talking on the latest episode of his Kurt Angle Show podcast, the WWE legend reflected on him having surgery on both of his knees simultaneously, which will put him in a wheelchair or a walker until his recovery. “I’m having both my knees replaced next month,” said Angle. “Both of them at the same time, I’m getting it over with. I’ll be in a wheelchair or a walker.

Moreover, his notorious neck injury is troubling him. Angle had stated that he needs the neck fusion surgery that he has not proceeded with yet. “My neck is not that great”, the Wrestling Machine said. “I have a lot of motor skill problems in my hands, my fingers because of my neck. Numbness down my arms, I have a lot of pain in my neck. I’ve been putting off fusion surgery for gosh, 15 years. I might not be able to put it off for much longer, I’m eventually going to have to have fusion.”

Kurt Angle admits that he had the quick fix surgeries just so he could get back in the ring again. Also, the last temporary surgery he had was in 2015. “I’m eventually going to have to have fusion, I’ve just been putting it off,” Angle added. He doesn’t say the reason behind him postponing these important surgeries.
