He announced that there would be an 8-man tournament for the title shot. Paul announced who all will be part of the tournament with the likes of Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, Santos Escobar, Dragon Lee, Karrion Kross, Austin Theory, Grayson Waller, and a superstar from NXT. However, fans were quick to notice there was no LA Knight on the list.

Despite his quick rise, Knight has not won a singles title on the main roster. His last title shot was at Crown Jewel for the WWE Universal Championship. Fans have been hoping that Knight will get a title run, but the WWE may have other plans for the megastar.

Knight’s push in the WWE was furthered by teaming up with the G.O.A.T John Cena to face The Bloodline at Fastlane. Despite winning the match, nothing further has come out for him.

LA Knight’s monumental rise in the WWE

Knight’s mic skills made him an overnight sensation. He was so over with the fans that he got a Slim Jims’ offer that rivaled that of the great Randy Savage. This went to show how much of a draw Knight is in the WWE.

However, his feuds have not been that great. After his blowout with The Miz, he teamed up with Cena. After the tag match at Fastlane, Knight continued his feud with The Bloodline. It is yet to be seen what the WWE has plans for the megastar.
