WWE has had many spectacular shows since Triple H took over the organization, and he has also brought about several other changes that the company has been lacking for a while. Triple H spent most of his time working on the NXT, which was a part of the larger picture, until former WWE CEO Vince McMahon’s retirement.
He also rejected seeing it as the WWE’s developing system in 2019 and referred to it as the third WWE brand. However, after H utterly contradicted himself and recently referred to it as a “developmental brand,” his supporters began to call him out on this statement.

In order to put things in perspective, Hunter recently chatted with BT Sport’s Ariel Helwani. Additionally, Helwani probed him about it during the interview and inquired as to if he had suffered any punishment as a result of NXT’s rating loss to AEW’s Dynamite, which caused NXT to switch to Tuesday.
To which, H replied, “People put so much pressure on this, all this competitive war. It never was that. Look, first of all, they beat our Developmental System. Good for them. No, it was never that, there was never even pressure of ‘you have to beat that’, like it was never that. It was put on the best product we could. Like I said, it shifted over time. [30:52-31:15]”

Fans were outraged at Triple H’s remarks
It was already clear after his remarks that he developed and pushed the NXT product. In addition, in response, a fan claimed that even Triple H was aware that this was a developing project and not the 3rd brand.

One user recalled and explained why WWE attempted to seem like an equal third brand if this was the developmental system.
Lol the developmental system they clearly tried to make look like an equal third brand by invading Raw and Smackdown and competing at Survivor Series.
