Every WWE Star, Past and Present, Who Joined the ‘We Want Cody Rhodes’ Campaign

The WWE Universe is devastated by the latest development in the status of the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 40. Fans are completely baffled at Dwayne Johnson replacing Cody Rhodes and throwing away his hard work at Royal Rumble 2024. The resultant hate that followed after this has seen a storm develop on social media.

Cody Rhodes had waited for an entire year to avenge his WrestleMania 39 defeat to Roman Reigns due to Solo Sikoa. Interestingly, while the WWE Universe was patiently waiting for The American Nightmare to complete his story, so were his fellow wrestlers. In fact, several recent developments on social media are showcasing the support from the WWE locker room for Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes, a prominent figure since his 2022 WWE return, won the 2024 Royal Rumble to face Reigns. Despite past setbacks, Cody’s determination prevailed, earning him a title shot. However, a twist unfolded when Dwayne Johnson intervened, requesting Rhodes to step aside for a WrestleMania main event against Reigns. Rhodes agreed, making The Rock vs. Reigns match official.

While Rhodes received support for his decision to give the spotlight to The Rock, some fans and celebrities advocated for him to main-event WrestleMania instead. Numerous WWE celebrities have joined fans in expressing their support for Rhodes and his title shot with the ‘We Want Cody Rhodes’ campaign.

Ex-WWE wrestler Matt Cardona was clear that he wants Cody Rhodes to go and fight in WrestleMania 40 instead of The Rock. 

Not just Cardona but WWE star Ricochet also had the same thoughts and was against the WM 40 decision. 

Even the world’s strongest man previously in WWE now in AEW Mark Henry was clear and wanted Rhodes to keep being him and go for the title.

The WWE United States Champion Logan Paul too chimed in with the same emotion supporting Rhodes to finish his story.

Although he was a huge fan of The Rock, a recent IMPAULSIVE interview revealed how things have gone bitter between the two, it makes sense that Paul supports Rhodes. 

Apart from this many other wrestlers such as Summer Rae, Cody’s father Dustin Rhodes, and wife Brandi Rhodes have tuned in to support the star on X. But did you know that not only WWE stars are supporting Rhodes?

Dwayne Johnson, a global icon and the highest-paid actor, has garnered immense popularity with his blockbuster Hollywood movies. His every move becomes a viral sensation on the internet. But the recent controversy surrounding Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania 40 main event is no exception. 

Comedian Gabriel Iglesias, who was part of WrestleMania 39, expressed his support for Rhodes amid the ongoing controversies by sharing a photo with him.

Iglesias, a WWE enthusiast, had previously given a tour of Snoop Dogg’s bus during WrestleMania 39, showcasing his involvement in the ongoing social media discussions.
