WWE Raw featured an electric main event which pitted Bobby Lashley against Kofi Kingston. The underdog sized up the WWE Champion, only to get chewed up and spat out until Drew McIntyre showed up. With McIntyre’s help, Kingston thwarted MVP and Bobby Lashley to register a huge win.

Bobby Lashley made an open challenge at the start of the show to the entire Raw roster, minus Braun Strowman and Drew McIntrye. Several Superstars from Sheamus to Randy Orton and even Damian Priest teased about accepting the challenge, but we got a fun surprise.

Kofi Kingston answered the call after he dispatched Randy Orton earlier in the show. Although Lashley dominated Kofi, interruptions from Xavier Woods and Drew McIntyre helped the littler man win. After Raw, MVP went absolute bananas on Twitter, calling out McIntyre and the New Day.

Lashley’s manager played a hand in his defeat, since McIntyre used his cane to attack Lashley. However, he more or less made his and the champion’s intentions clear on Twitter. Unfortunately for him, his client now has three enemies on Raw, with two of them gunning for the WWE Title.

MVP lashed out at McIntyre, calling him bitter and angry. He put over Lashley by saying it took three men to beat him, and they still resorted to cheating. This way, Lashley remains protected and doesn’t look like a chump, and the babyfaces look sneaky and willing to do anything to put down the All Mighty.

Will Kofi get his WWE Title shot?

One can’t help but wonder if Kofi Kingston gets a shot at the WWE Championship. He never received his rematch after losing to Brock Lesnar in humiliating fashion in 2019, and he deserves a return to the main event. With a win over Randy Orton and Bobby Lashley on the same night, it’s clear Kofi is getting another push.

Pinning a fourteen-time World Champion and the current WWE Champion in the same night is no easy feat. It isn’t right up there with Chris Jericho pinning Stone Cold and The Rock, but it’s like Kofi’s performance in the gauntlet match that shot him into the main event in 2019.

This win against Lashley should translate into a title shot, even though he won’t beat the All Mighty. He’ll make a decent filler feud for Lashley until he’s ready to hunt bigger game.
