Dwayne Johnson is one of the WWE stars whose return people are eager to witness. Even following his retirement from wrestling, Johnson has appeared on WWE several times, and fans always seem to be looking forward to his next return. This time around, The Rock dropped a hint himself when he was on a talk show. This happened during ‘Hart To Heart’s latest episode.

While talking to one of his Hollywood best friends, Johnson was seen mentioning his return to WWE. Kevin Hart also claimed to have a major role in giving The Brahma Bull a brand new chance to please his wrestling fans.

When can we expect to see The Rock next?

There could be a change of plans at any point in time. However, for now, DJ subtly revealed that WWE has set up for him to appear at WrestleMania 40. The event will take place on two nights, 6th and 7th April 2024. While talking on ‘Hart To Heart’, the host also claimed that he is the one to be thanked for this. This conversation started with Hart, also claiming to be friends with Nick Khan.

Hart began by saying, “Nick called me. I think he called me at 2:00 AM with an emergency. ‘Kevin, oh, we don’t got no place to go’. ‘Stop panicking. I’ll get on the phone with Philadelphia’.” To this, Johnson enquired, “So, he told you there was a potential of me going to WrestleMania in Philly?” Hart then wittily replied, “Who do you think made that happen?

Not only does the comedian claim to be close with the CEO of WWE, but he also claims that he is the one making the Samoan wrestler appear at WrestleMania 40. In fact, according to him, he is the one who vacated Philadelphia for the ‘Super Bowl of WWE’.

Seeing the Hollywood star appear on WWE again would excite a lot of fans. If the wrestling promotion can include him in a storyline, it would only benefit them.

Nevertheless, wrestling fans could be wary of news regarding a DJ return after so many false hopes throughout the year.

Dwayne Johnson has broken several hearts this year

Speculations surrounding The Rock’s appearance have been going on for a long time now. The last time he appeared via his WWE Legend’s contract was at WrestleMania 32. Since Johnson won that match, he hasn’t appeared in another one yet. Just like almost every other WWE event, this year’s PLEs also saw fans speculate about his return, time and again. Starting with Royal Rumble 2023 The Rock missed, speculations shifted in WrestleMania 39.
