Nikki Bella, Who Once Dated John Cena, Set to Join Nickelodeon for an Never Seen Before Project

On Tuesday, Nickelodeon announced that the “Nickelodeon Slime Cup” will take place on June 25 at the Rose Bowl Stadium. In addition, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella will also compete in the Golf Tournament, where she will be up against several well-known sports celebrities.

On Twitter, Nickelodeon shared a teaser of the upcoming event. The Cup will feature four teams: Orange, Red, Green, and Pink. In addition, each team will have a professional golfer, a celebrity, and one Nick star.

Also, the WWE superstar will battle three different teams. Nikki Bella will be part of the Pink team alongside Professional golfer and recent PGA Championship winner Justin Thomas, and Nick star Isaiah Crews.

As per the Nickelodeon press release, professional golfer Collin Morikawa, actor, host, and author Terry Crews, and Nick star Jaidyn Triplett will represent the Green Team.

In addition, professional golfer Lexi Thompson, NFL star Saquon Barkley, and Nick star Tyler Wladis will be of Orange Team. Whereas professional golfer Jon Rahm, NFL player Justin Herbert, and Nick star Kate Godfrey comprise the Red Team.

Why Did John Cena and Nikki Bella Separate?

On WWE television, the former WWE Champion and Nikki Bella enjoyed a successful stint as a pair. Cena proposed to Nikki Bella in the middle of the wrestling ring, which was a huge gesture. Cena and Bella were said to be tying knots. But, unfortunately, it didn’t happen.

They started dating in 2012 and were engaged in 2017. But it shocked the WWE universe when Cena and Bella had to call off their engagement in April 2018. On social media, Bella informed her admirers of the heartbreaking news.

Talking about their relationship, she said, “Overall, we did have such an incredible relationship. It was just two people that wanted two different lives but were trying so hard to make it one.”

Nevertheless, she knew well that John Cena did not want to start a family after their marriage, and she felt the same way. She accepted his choice not to have children at first. Cena eventually changed his opinion and was willing to have children for her happiness. Regardless, Bella understood she couldn’t push Cena to do something he didn’t want to do.
