The issues with Tony Khan’s social media antics have not stopped after the culmination of Tuesday Night War. The AEW president did not stop running his mouth despite losing the battle to the WWE. His latest post regarding his mother showcases the WWE in a very negative light. This prompted a response from a former WWE manager who had something to say.

This person has been around the pro wrestling block way longer than Khan has. Despite being a controversial figure, fans still listen to him due to his experience and insights.

Taking to social media, Khan posted that WWE avatar accounts have been spamming him day and night. These unknown accounts on social media have begun harassing his mother, who is recovering from a near-death experience. Unlike the WWE, Khan’s AEW does not have an approval procedure where he would be told what can be posted on social media and what cannot.

This recent post caught the eyes of Bischoff, who has been vocal about the missteps AEW has been making. While addressing issues on his 83 Weeks podcast, he touched on this matter. He began by stating how he felt Khan had gone too far. Bischoff continued by saying, “This is not the time to pull your pants down and show the world your a**. This is not the time to overreact, this is not the time to get overly emotional. This is not the time to bring up something as personal as he did in terms of his mother and her health and tie it into an evil WWE. “

This is in reference to how much Khan likes to embark on a social media feud with the WWE. Bischoff isn’t the only person to talk about Khan’s obsession with the WWE online in a negative light.

Dave Meltzer compares AEW to WCW

While Bischoff blasts Tony Khan’s antics, Dave Meltzer compares Khan to Bischoff. On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said, “It reminded me of when Eric Bischoff… WCW was still doing really good at this point, but when they started losing, you could see that everybody was just losing it on the WCW side.” People have been comparing what Khan is doing to AEW for a long time to what happened to WCW.

Despite having a good number of weekly viewership, WCW focused more on beating WWE in the ratings war. According to experts like Meltzer, if the WCW focused on their product, they could easily beat the WWE in due time. Unfortunately, the company imploded due to backstage politics. Nevertheless, the wrestling community is hopeful that a similar scenario doesn’t ensue in the modern landscape of pro wrestling.
