The injury surely states how brutal the realm of pro wrestling could be at times. Moreover, we have to wait and see how quickly Zayn recovers from the stitches. Considering the Royal Rumble PLE on the horizon, Zayn’s update might be an enormous blow for the Stamford-based promotion. But this was not the first time for Zayn to witness something this bad. Well, on the same tour in New York, he experienced another agonizing scenario.

This holiday tour was not an ideal one for Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn also suffered an injury in Madison Square Garden while he fought a tag team match against Judgment Day. Zayn teamed up with Jey Uso, as they encountered Finn Balor and Damian Priest as their opponents. It was a match on the same holiday tour, where Zayn eventually found it difficult to walk.

He then got assistance from the referee and Jey Uso as they called some other officials who could then help the former Intercontinental champ walk backstage. Well, sustaining another injury against McIntyre shows that Zayn gives it all to perform inside the squared circle. Now it is not clear how severe the injury is, but all the wrestling faithful will surely have Zayn’s back.

Moreover, tonight on the show the fans also saw that Kofi Kingston’s dropkick most likely caused a concussion to Giovanni Vinci of Imperium causing the referee to call an early stoppage. This shows the perils of pro wrestling where the risk factor of every move is high.
