Major WWE Superstar Might Join MVP in The Hurt Business

Since returning to the WWE, MVP has had quite an impressive run. He found a faction of his own and made impressive signings like “the almighty” Bobby Lashley and “the Gold Standard” Shelton Benjamin.

After a brilliant start, in terms of signings, MVP hasn’t stopped. In fact, he is trying to add more and more Superstars to his brand. If given a choice, he may sign the whole roster as well.

He started by trying to sign Apollo Crews. However, after weeks and weeks of rejection by the United States champion, the two got into a feud.

This feud has now gone on for quite some time. During this time, Mr.305 added Shelton Benjamin to his roster of clients. It has been a good start for Benjamin, winning the 24/7 title on more than one occasion.

After successfully signing Benjamin to the Hurt Business, MVP turned his attention to another prospect.

Going back by a month, On the July 6th edition of Monday Night RAW, MVP approached former cruiserweight champion, Cedric Alexander. After a long negotiation, Alexander didn’t feel interested and the talks died down.

A few weeks ago, Mustafa Ali returned to Monday Night RAW. Ali’s return has overshadowed Alexander a little bit.

On the latest August 18th edition of RAW, MVP challenged Apollo Crews to a six-man tag team elimination match. Crews was asked to pick any two partners of his choice.

The United States champion would select Ricochet and Mustafa Ali. Just like a shrewd businessman, this is the moment MVP looked to cash in.

He went to convince Alexander once again to join the Hurt Business. He played all his cards as he tried to divide and rule by telling Alexander that he was underrated and hence not selected by Crews.

This could be the perfect moment for Cedric Alexander to turn heel. Mustafa Ali and Cedric Alexander had a couple of great matches on 205 live.

Ali’s return overshadowing Alexander could be the perfect reason to turn the latter heel. It will be interesting to see if WWE goes down that way.
