Reunion With Dwayne Johnson Leaves Top Hollywood Star Excited Like a Kid

The Rock is currently one of Hollywood’s top talents. Additionally, Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart have fantastic on-screen chemistry. The result is that the duo has contributed to many successful movies; most notably Central Intelligence and the Jumanji series. Moreover, the two close friends are once more working on a project that will be released one month from now.

The Rock’s first comic book film, Black Adam, is scheduled for release in October. Many people already think of The Rock as the DCEU’s future. However, the Black Adam actor and Hart will first appear in their upcoming DC League of Super-Pets.

Hart shared a movie poster on Instagram to show his excitement at getting back together with The Rock. Sharing the picture, Hart wrote a caption, “Let’s goooooooooo…..This summer will be HUUUUUGGGGEEEEE!!!!!! Feels good to be back on the big screen with my brother @therock…Mark the date damn it!!!!!!!”

The upcoming animated film DC League of Super-Pets is based on the DC Comics superhero team Legion of Super-Pets. DC League of Super-Pets will be released in theatres on July 29, 2022. The COVID-19 outbreak pushed back the film’s original release date, May 21, 2021 .

Additionally, The DC League of Super-Pets will be available on HBO Max 45 days following its cinema release.

Hart and Johnson’s return to the big screen has piqued the attention of fans from all around the world in the film. The Rock has performed a voice for ‘Krypto the Superdog’, Superman’s pet Labrador retriever from Krypton. Whereas, Hart will voice Ace the Bat-Hound, a dog with superhuman strength and invulnerability. He eventually takes on the role of Batman’s dog.

Additionally, Jared Stern co-directs the film with co-writer John Whittington in his debut cinematic directing attempt. Along with Kevin Hart and The Rock, other famous voices in the film include Keanu Reeves, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Diego Luna, Natasha Lyonne, Vanessa Bayer, and Ben Schwartz.
