Main Event Jey Uso challenged IC Champion Gunther for a title match on the last episode of RAW. Jey Uso was close to dethroning the record-breaking IC Champion, were it not for interference from The Bloodline member Jimmy Uso. The intervention proved to be pivotal as Jey Uso lost the momentum and his chance to win the gold. But it led to another feud as Jey Uso looked firm to tackle his brother, Jimmy Uso.

With the above-mentioned narration, a match looks firm for WrestleMania XL as the Usos look to take on each other. But it looks like a pattern of matches that has turned into a tradition.

WWE continues on the pattern of booking a special match

This year, WWE is looking forward to booking another blood vs. blood match involving a member of The Bloodline. Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso have their dreams fulfilled as they look forward to locking horns at the grandest stage of wrestling. This will be the third brother vs. brother match in the history of WrestleMania as WWE continues its tradition.

The first such match happened between the late Owen Hart against his brother Bret The Hitman Hart at WrestleMania 10 in 1994. The match was won by Owen in a surprising turn of events. The next match took place at WrestleMania 25 in 2009 when Matt Hardy took on Jeff Hardy in a singles match. This time, Matt Hardy won the match after delivering a painful Twist of Fate to Jeff Hardy.

So, a blood vs blood match between Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso will take place exactly after 15 years. It is known that both brothers were looking for a match at WrestleMania. But there is more than just the wrestlers involved in the matches that look like a pattern.

Interestingly, in both the previous cases, the lesser-known sibling won the matches while the other sibling went on to become WWE Champion. While Owen Hart won the match, Bret Hart won the main event on the same night to win the world title. On the other hand, Matt Hardy won his match while Jeff Hardy went on to become the World Champion.

So, does that indicate another pattern from WWE? Will we see Jimmy Uso win this match and then WWE pulls the trigger on Jey Uso? Who will win the brother vs. brother match?
