WWE recently announced WrestleMania 39’s mind-blowing economic impact on the Los Angeles region. And Roman Reigns was quick to claim the glory.

Although the card for WrestleMania was replete with exciting and thrilling matches, none drew as much attention as the feud between the nefarious Roman Reigns and the returning babyface, Cody Rhodes. The main event on Night 2 had an emotional impact on the audience. Roman Reigns took to social media to drop a three-letter word, reacting to the success of WrestleMania 39.

Roman Reigns takes the credit for WrestleMania 39 generating a huge sum for Los Angeles

WWE recently announced on their website that the Gradest Stage this year raked in an astronomical $215 million for Los Angeles. WrestleMania 39 easily surpassed last year’s WrestleMania record of $206.5 million in the Arlington region. It’s also worth noting that since 2016, the greatest spectacle in sports entertainment has garnered over $1.2 billion in terms of economic impact for the host cities. 

Reacting to WrestleMania’s incredible feat, The Tribal Chief took to Twitter to take the credit. He tweeted, “The Only One”. To be fair, much credit for the success of WrestleMania 39 is attributed to Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. 

The match meant a lot to wrestling fans. Cody Rhodes, who returned from a debilitating injury, won the 2023 Royal Rumble to punch his ticket to challenge Reigns for the top titles in the company. In the lead-up to their battle, Rhodes vowed to fulfill his father’s dream by winning the World Title for the first time in WWE.

However, in the end, The American Nightmare failed to rise against the odds. His loss was met with an uproar among the fans. Although the WWE Universe clamored to see a rematch between both athletes, they went their separate ways.

Nonetheless, Paul Heyman, Roman Reign’s Wiseman, could not agree more with his Tribal Chief about WrestleMania 39’s success.

Paul Heyman acknowledges Roman Reigns after WrestleMania 39’s incredible feat

Paul Heyman has been a staunch supporter of Roman Reigns. Although Reigns is arguably the best in the business, his success would not have been the same without the influence of Paul Heyman. Even during the implosion of The Bloodline, Heyman proudly held Reigns’ World Titles high, asserting Reigns’ uniqueness as “The Only One”. 

Reacting to WWE’s report, Paul Heyman extended his support to Reigns like he always does. He wrote, “Thank you for being the UNDISPUTED No.1 top star and propelling this industry forward, my #TribalChief!”

Aside from managerial support, Heyman has provided credibility to the character of Roman Reigns by constantly having his back. While Reigns rests on his throne, Heyman communicates for him, using his exceptional mic skills to cut scathing promos. Nevertheless, Reigns is currently gearing up to face Jey Uso at SummerSlam in an unprecedented match, Tribal Combat. We will have to wait and see if SummerSlam breaks records this year.
