The wrestling singlet is something that has been sported widely in WWE and pro wrestling. Superstars who put on the classic look include greats like Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, and Shelton Benjamin during the 2000s to former WWE star Ryback lately. And most recently the comical duo of Chad Gable and Otis who make up the Alpha Academy, adorn the singlet.

But this week their manager Maxxine Dupri donned the singlet, and that caught Ronda Rousey’s attention.

Ronda Rousey appreciates Maxxine Dupri for turning up the temperature

On the latest edition of RAW, the Alpha Academy and Maxxine Dupri were seen backstage practicing an arm drag. And Maxxine seems to have perfected the move rather well as she dropped Chad Gable effortlessly to the ground. The Alpha Academy couldn’t control their excitement post the successful execution of the move.

On her recent appearance on After The Bell podcast, Maxxine talked about how Ronda Rousey complimented her as she walked into the main arena.

Talking about her outfit Maxxine explained,” I love to push the envelope, I love to not play it safe, especially with fashion. And it was funny actually, right before I walked through the gorilla, Ronda said to me, she’s like, ‘Finally, someone’s making a singlet sexy.’ I’m like Yes!”

Maxxine Dupri has been with WWE for close to two years and now she is slowly making a name for herself on the company’s main roster.

Maxxine Dupri is slowly making her presence felt

Having made her debut as Sofia Cromwell back in 2021 on NXT, she later joined SmackDown in 2022. There she played the role of Maxxine Dupri, the sister of Max Dupri now blabbermouth LA Knight. She started managing the Maximum Male Models faction made up of Ma.çé and Mån.sôör but later graduated to the humorous Alpha Academy.

After seeing Maxxine perform the arm drag so skillfully, fans can’t wait to see her try out the same moves in the ring. With continued training from the Alpha Academy, maybe Maxxine can someday challenge Ronda Rousey herself.
