Sami Zayn Unhappy with WWE’s Match Booking for SmackDown

WWE has announced some exciting segments and matches for SmackDown but Sami Zayn doesn’t look very excited. Zayn has made his presence felt very strongly since his return.

This week on SmackDown, Jeff Hardy will be defending his Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles. This announcement did not sit well with Sami Zayn. The Canadian wrestler vented his frustration on Twitter.

Sami Zayn may still be the Intercontinental Champion who never lost the championship. A long hiatus from WWE due to COVID-19 made WWE strip him off the title.

Post that, AJ Styles defeated Daniel Bryan in an Intercontinental Championship tournament to conquer the championship. The reign of the Phenomenal One didn’t last long, dropping the title to Jeff Hardy just two days before SummerSlam.

Does the Sami Zayn return mean the end of Jeff Hardy’s Push?

Sami Zayn hasn’t been scheduled for anything on SmackDown this week. One should not be surprised if he causes a distraction for either Superstar.

As things look, whatever be the outcome of the match on SmackDown, the road is heading towards a triple threat match. The winner will be the undisputed Intercontinental Champion.

If this match takes place, it will certainly be one for the highlight reel. The three veterans are highly talented and magnificent in-ring performers.

This situation could pose a huge threat to Jeff Hardy. Until the lockdown and Sami choosing to stay home for safety concerns, Hardy was nowhere close to a title run.

Sami Zayn’s return will definitely make Vince McMahon brainstorm on who should be his Intercontinental champion. With AJ Styles in the picture, the rivalry will only get better.
