This Friday, AEW Rampage aired for its inaugural episode on TNT and the show lived up to its hype. The show had hour-packed wrestling matches where we witnessed ‘The Belt Collector’ Kenny Omega, finally losing one of his titles. However, some fans did not resonate with the commentary style of Chris Jericho, who was calling the matches for the night.

The show had four commentators for the night – Taz, Mark Henry, Excalibur, and Jericho himself. However, some fans online complained that Jericho was “screaming” the whole time.

A fan tweeted a photo after the event, saying Jericho shouting his way through the commentary for an hour. The fan even uploaded a photo from Simpsons in which a child’s mother is covering his ear because of loud noises.

Jericho replied to this less-than-complimentary fan feedback via Twitter where his words translate that he doesn’t care what others think and he’ll keep doing it.

However, Jericho will be back behind the announce desk next Friday for the already sold out AEW Rampage: The Last Dance at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

AEW’s ‘Le Champion’ has defied all the odds and has overcome every wrestler MJF has put in front of him. He has faced Shawn Spears, Nick Gage, his long-time rival Juventud Guerrera and most recently Wardlow.
