It looks like Roman Reigns’ plight is far from getting over. Just weeks ago, he got humbled by his cousins Jimmy and Jey Uso in front of a raucous crowd in London. Following the loss at Money In The Bank, Reigns was handed more humiliation as The Tribal Chief was tried at the tribal court by the twins. Needless to say, his Bloodline has crumbled as the former Undisputed WWE Tag Team champions have staged a massive revolt against the head of the table.

Now, another Bloodline member has deserted Reigns, while lending support to Jey Uso ahead of the upcoming SummerSlam bout.

27-year-old Anoa’i family member snubs Roman Reigns

Reigns got snubbed by none other than Zilla Fatu, his cousin. The 27-year-old is the youngest son of WWE legend Umaga. Fatu recently made his debut at Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion the past weekend. Speaking to MuscleManMalcom after his winning bout, the wrestler said he is rooting for the twins. “I got Jey. Team Jey,” he said.

Jey Uso will be likely taking on Roman Reigns and his Undisputed WWE Universal Title at WWE SummerSlam. The PLE will take place at Ford Field in Michigan on August 5.

Fatu said his reason for choosing Jey Uso was Roman Reigns’ behavior. “I’m more built on respect and loyalty, so that’s kind of going on. Roman disrespected Jey and Jimmy.”

Meanwhile, Umaga’s youngest shared his thoughts on the WWE. He also made some fans nostalgic with a special tribute to his late father.

Zilla Fatu brings back Umaga’s finisher

After his debut match, several clips have been uploaded on social media, showing the latest Anoa’i pro wrestler using his father’s finisher. In case you cannot recall what it was, Umaga used the Samoan Spike as one of his finishers. It is akin to what WWE superstar Solo Sikoa uses currently.

However, Zilla Fatu’s move is a tad more energetic than Sikoa’s. As per clips, he puts in more power while hitting the opponent with the spike. This is also a fitting tribute to his legendary father, who sadly passed away in 2009 at the age of 36.

On the other hand, Fatu told the interviewer that he wants to own the WWE. While this was a joke, many fans would want the Stamford-based promotion to acquire his talent before rival promotions.

Meanwhile, Fatu also said that The Bloodline story is “gonna get crazy”. Did he hint at his possible run in the promotion? We will have to wait for father time to unlock that mystery.

Currently knocking at the door of a nine-year professional journey, I have had a memorable debut in 2015. Now, I am, working with EssentiallySports as a senior writer for the WWE division. It is a dream job, to be honest. Who doesn't love the idea of getting paid for something you like? I don't know who doesn't, but I clearly do. In an 11-month-old stint, I'm closing in on 700 published ES articles. I even had the chance to interview WWE Star Ludwig Kaiser for ES. I'm also a contributing member of ES Fancast programme and have handled two podcasts successfully. Personally, I like writing about Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and had an item checked off my bucket list when I covered his return live this past September. Other than that, you'll find me investing time in John Cena, Cody Rhodes and LA Knight. When not writing, I scour YouTube and Instagram, looking for WWE content and memes. And then if I get time, I use my energy to experiment with food.
