The March 25th, 2024 episode of WWE Raw proved to be another bad night for Dominik Mysterio. The Judgment Day member has come a long way from being in the shadow of his father Rey Mysterio. However, Dirty Dom seems to have cemented his place in the shadow of his on-screen girlfriend Rhea Ripley. 

Mami is set to face Becky Lynch at the upcoming WrestleMania XL to defend the WWE Women’s Championship. While Ripley has had her fair share of knocking out male pro wrestlers, the latest episode of Raw showed Lynch taking a piece of Dom. The cheap shot drew several shocked reactions from the WWE Universe who, just like Dominik Mysterio, didn’t see the punch coming.

When Rhea Ripley exploded after the altercation with Becky Lynch

The WWE Arena of Chicago was aboard a very chaotic night on the latest episode of Raw. While the Dwayne Johnson-Cody Rhodes confrontation left them shell-shocked, Becky Lynch KOing Dominik Mysterio was an added layer of unexpectedness for the fans. Apparently, Lynch was angered by Ripley when she mentioned the name of her daughter, Roux. 

WWE also added a new reel to Instagram showcasing the speedy blow that struck Dominik Mysterio. The post carried the caption, “@beckylynchwwe ROCKED Dom Dom and @rhearipley_wwe didn’t let it slide 👊😤 #WWERaw.” An exchange of punches between Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch immediately followed the punch. WWE hilariously tweeted about how Lynch hurt Dominik Mysterio too.

Mami was quick to gain the upper hand and punched Becky Lynch. Taking the momentum forward, she threw Lynch into the corner post of the ring. The video showed Dominik Mysterio taking a very hard hit directly on his chin.

While Rhea Ripley immediately avenged the attack, the punch was enough to send Dom reeling out of the ring. Although Mami was seen wearing a brace and being possibly injured as per rumors, she still managed to reply back.

While Rhea Ripley was livid at Becky Lynch for the cheap shot, the WWE Universe was shocked. However, given that Dominik Mysterio is an amazing heel, seeing the Judgment Day Member go down also generated cheers.

Dirty Dom has always drawn boos every time he steps into the WWE arena and the WWE PLEs. He may not be as quick as Finn Balor and as powerful as Damian Priest, but he still gets heat as a heel. Snickering at Dirty Dom and his save by Rhea Ripley, one of the fans praised the cheap shot of Becky Lynch.

Another fan took a very humorous jibe at Dominik Mysterio, who was later seen in pain backstage with Rhea Ripley.

The jokes kept following as another fan talked about an expensive hospital bill for Dominik Mysterio.

While everyone was laughing, a Dominik Mysterio fan didn’t like the unprovoked punch thrown by Becky Lynch.

Lastly, Becky Lynch earned a cheer from a fan who will definitely be supporting her against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania XL.
