The duo will be fighting for the WWE Championship which Roman Reigns has held for a whopping 1290+ days. Notably, his cousin Dwayne Johnson also had his eyes on the WWE title when he almost snatched Rhodes’ title shot after the Royal Rumble.

The WWE Championship is always at the center of everything that happens in the pro wrestling outfit. This is the second Universal title reign of Reigns, and he has won the WWE Championship four times, which makes him a six-time champ. On the other hand, the newest member of The Bloodline, Dwayne Johnson has won the title ten times. Two of his title reigns came in WCW, which was acquired by WWE later on. 

Compared to Reigns and Johnson, John Cena has held the WWE Championship a total of 16 times. He is often revered as the man who won the top gold the highest number of times.

He shares the record with the legendary Ric Flair who also won the title 16 times. However, three of those belts were the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, a title that is its own separate entity today.

Thus, a clear difference is visible between the numerical value of the title reigns of Dwayne Johnson, Roman Reigns, and John Cena. The Rock has faced a lot of hardcore competition from the likes of Kurt Angle, Mankind, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and more. This added more weight to the belt he wore when he was the Champion. 

John Cena also faced off against some of the best fighters to ever grace WWE’s squared circle. This includes Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Edge, and more. But, Roman Reigns has defeated John Cena, but the leader of the Cenation has never bested The Tribal Chief.
