The Judgement Day didn’t enjoy the most fruitful of times to enjoy on Monday Night Raw. Damien Priest and Dominik Mysterio lost their match for the tag team championships against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in the main event of Raw. While the match was a worthy main event, fans felt the show’s highlight featured Rhea Ripley. 

In the show’s closing moments, Ripley finally got due after her former best friend got her 15-month-long payback against the champion on Raw. 

What happened between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan? 

After getting dominated by the tag team champions earlier in a strong segment, Judgement Day would have liked to close the show on a high note by defeating the tag champs and capturing the raw tag titles.

In the main event, KO and Zayn withstood the challenge, pushed through, and defeated their opponents to keep their championship titles, causing further cracks within the Judgement Day.

However, In the biggest highlight of the match, while Ripley was barking at the referee, Liv Morgan made an appearance and annihilated the champion. She then went on to clothesline her over the timekeeper’s area.

Even though Morgan got her sweet revenge, after Ripley turned on her former teammate 15 months back to turn heel, it still was a rough night for Morgan.

Ripley, earlier in the show, attacked Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez backstage, which ultimately helped Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green defeat the champions to win the women’s tag team titles.

It was a short title reign for Morgan and Rodriguez just a few weeks after capturing the titles at Money in the Bank PLE. Nevertheless, fans reacted to the segment on social media.

On a bittersweet night, Morgan got the last laugh by attacking the champ, which naturally got a significant response from WWE fans 

Fans backed Morgan to get her revenge and shower their love.

Some fans pitched an idea for a matchup between the two divas at SummerSlam and WrestleMania

The ambush has caused a rivalry between the two former best friends. It will be exciting to see if they compete for the women’s championship at SummerSlam or down the road.
