After weeks of being on the down-low, the Hacker storyline may finally have a breath of fresh air, or at least it seems that way.

It was recently found that the Hacker followed someone on his/her twitter handle. The account followed is confusing, to say the least.

First of all, the account followed is not a ‘someone’ but a news source called ‘This Is The Latest’.

Secondly, we have no idea what this means, or what the Hacker is implying.

The Hacker’s storyline has been dormant for the past few weeks and has gone down ever since the pandemic began.

Many suspect the notorious Hacker to be Mustafa Ali.

However, Ali was transferred to the RAW brand, which more or less cuts off his connection to the SmackDown storyline.

There are also rumors that the Hacker is a ‘she’ and not a ‘he’.

WWE has put The Hacker storyline on hold

This storyline was one of many that were put on hold due to the pandemic.

This may be because storylines such as this one depend on crowd reaction. The absence of the crowd makes it very difficult for such a story to progress.

Doing so would be a waste of a potentially great storyline. WWE has thus completely dropped the storyline and pursued others in the meantime.

As of now, we do not know whether The Hacker’s story will continue or not after the pandemic.

The question of the meaning behind who the Hacker followed and why still remains.

Wrestling Daze analyzed the entire thing in a recent YouTube video.

For all we know, WWE could also be leading us on a wild goose chase, keeping the storyline alive by keeping the audience engaged.

If that was their plan, then mission accomplished.
